Generally, I do not practice Criminal Law (with exception of DUI & Marijuana Possession defense), Workman's Compensation, or Personal Injury cases. I can provide basic advice to you but I prefer to refer out these matters to another firm.
In general, I can assist you with any civil litigation or civil defense matter depending on the matter. If the area is outside my expertise, then I will refer you at no charge to an attorney who can more properly handle your case.  If the circumstances are such that a large class of persons may be in the same situation as yourself then it may be that the case is suitable for class action status with perhaps yourself as one of the representative plaintiffs.

The federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, or FDCPA, prohibits certain debt collectors from engaging in abusive behavior.  Most bill collector's are careful to follow the law.  Being persistent, although annoying, is not illegal.  However, occasionally a bill collector oversteps the bounds of the law.  At no charge to you, I can inform you of the steps to take and any State and Local agencies at which you may lodge a formal complaint.  In the event, the behavior is truly abusive, I can represent you in a lawsuit to curb the behaviour.  Most cases of this nature will be undertaken on a Fixed-Fee basis.
Generally, many individuals and businesses can file the requisite forms with a federal bankruptcy court and proceed through the process without the aid of an attorney.  However, for those individuals and businesses that need help filing for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, I can assist you at a low cost fixed-fee.  Chapter 11 bankruptcy is usually more complicated and these cases will be undertaken at my Hourly Rate.
